Started as sole trader in salt and flour after training under Mrs. Esther Akinsuyi (Mama Idowu), PZ's pioneering distributor. Learned: "Trust is earned in kilograms, not tonnes."
Co-founded Daleko Market's wholesale section when traders needed organized space. Pioneered what became Lagos' largest food market.
1982
Became early adopter of computerized inventory when most distributors used ledgers. "While others counted stock, we forecasted demand," says Mr. Seyi Odumuyiwa.
1995
Honored all contracts during global rice crisis at pre-crisis prices. Lost ₦50M+ but preserved every customer relationship.
2008
During recession, introduced flexible payment terms that kept 200+ retail clients solvent. "That flexibility saved my business," says Lagos supermarket owner Chinedu Okoro.
